As avenues of traditional sources of income plateau or are being eroded, Responsible Tourism provides an alternative and supplementary source of income to many rural farm and forest fringe communities, artisans and crafts persons who are willing to play host.
The host could be a community, an entrepreneurial family, or a corporate house supporting responsible tourism initiatives in the community.
The
Ministry of Tourism and the United Nations Development Programme
(UNDP) jointly started an Endogenous Tourism Project in 36 villages
across India in 2005. (www.exploreruralindia.org)
The Project has clearly demonstrated that village communities can
own, control and manage Tourism ventures in a responsible manner
and equally important, earn an income out of it.. A case to point

We
are principally geared to supporting the host in creating an experience,
which is often ignored in the rush of demands laid on them. Our

expertise in four critical components namely, Community
Ownership, Making it Responsible Tourism, Hospitality Services Management
and Marketing (click to know more – link takes you to a pdf

• Helping you to plan on ‘creating the experience’
• Garnering resources required for execution, be it financial
