Welcome to Arco Iris...
which is Portuguese for rainbow...
Overview

Welcome to Arco Iris which is Portuguese for rainbow. Away from the hustle and bustle of Curtorim's beaches, find your peace with nature in this 200-year-old colonial-style home-stay with modern facilities. Arco Iris is located in Curtorim in south Curtorim. The large, spacious and well-remodelled building retains an old-world charm. Splash about in the serene Corjim Lake nearby or dash in the paddy fields around the Zuari River. Around here there are plenty of colourful birds, romantic churches, lots of fishing and delicious home-cooked food. Blend these with your hosts Bennita and Ganesh and their charming daughters Trusha and Trikaya to get a perfect Curtorim holiday.

What we've planned for you...

Laze in nature's lap, go fishing, boating, trekking, bird-watching or simply shooting with your camera of course! Walk down to the St. Alex Church nearby or cycle to the Rachol Seminary. The Big Foot museum and the Braganza Mansions are also worth a visit. The Zuari river offers excellent options of fishing with the locals as well as riding a 'gondola.' Plan a wildlife safari in Cotigao, Mahavir, Bondla or Mhadei. Lounge on the famous beaches of Colva, Benualim or the Varca, all a short drive away. Take a heritage walk in Chandor and the Palacio de Deao, both a few kilometres from Curtorim. For the religiously inclined the Mangeshi and Datta Mandir temples are worth a visit.

Discuss with your hosts the night before and they will help you organise the trip.

TAI Recommends...

“Your home is perhaps the most beautiful spot not only in Goa but maybe all of India!! We immensely appreciated your warmth, hospitality and phenomenal food. The past few days were a refreshing reprieve from our hectic lives in Delhi and a perfect introduction to India for my sister. We look forward to future visits and will recommend Arco Iris very highly to all of our friends.
